Tim Queeney

Tim Queeney’s novel The Brooklyn Devil will be published by TCK Publishing in early 2019. The book is a family story set in New York City and Connecticut during the Vietnam War, with flashbacks to main character Eddie Reagal’s experiences in World War II. Queeney has also written three thriller novels and a thriller novella. His humorous “secret history” of young George Washington and his narrator colleague, Darius Attucks, is set in London in 1751. He is also the editor of Ocean Navigator magazine and a freelance writer, with pieces in Professional Mariner and Aviation History magazines. He is one of the world’s few remaining instructors of the art of celestial navigation and has lectured at MIT, the University of Southern Maine and at Shipyard Brewing’s tasting room in Portland, Maine! An offshore sailor, he has thousands of ocean miles, many of them while teaching navigation aboard tall ships. He lives in Maine and can hear the fog horns from three lighthouses when the weather turns thick.
