Tim Queeney

Tim Queeney has written three thriller novels and a thriller novella, along with a humorous historical novel—whose main character is George Washington—and a novel loosely based on his father’s experiences in World War II. He is also the editor of Ocean Navigator magazine and a freelance writer, with pieces in Professional Mariner and Aviation History magazines. He is one of the world’s few remaining instructors of the art of celestial navigation and has lectured at MIT, the University of Southern Maine and at Shipyard Brewing’s tasting room in Portland, Maine! An offshore sailor, he has thousands of ocean miles, many of them while teaching navigation aboard tall ships. He lives in Maine and can hear the fog horns from three lighthouses when the weather turns thick.
